DIY Divider with Let It Snow Collection
Hello, friends!
It is so much fun to create your own monthly divider in your planners and journals and it even better when you can use the Let It Snow Collection to put your divider together!
Marsha Farris: DIY Divider
I started an A5 creative planner at the beginning of this year and have enjoyed documenting little snippets of my life in this format. My favorite part of this project is creating the divider page each month. I love the colors and mix of winter icons in the Let It Snow Collection and used it to make my divider for December.
To begin the project, I selected a 4x6 pocket card from the Let It Snow Modern Memory Keeping Kit to serve as the title. I love the font and thought it would work well on the project. I trimmed out the sentiment on the card, leaving a small border around the edges, and adhered it to the page. I like to keep the bulk to a minimum in this planner, so I selected a variety of flat embellishments from the kits. I added a rub on above the title piece and did some stamping with the stamp from the Let It Snow Modern Memory Keeping Kit and dark green ink. I also added a phrase sticker from the Let It Snow Memory Keeping Sticker kit below the stamping.
I wanted to add more decor to the bottom of the page, so I trimmed out the houses from the same 4x6 pocket card I used for the title, essentially creating my own die cuts. I adhered the houses in a line and added a sticker from the Let It Snow Memory Keeping Sticker Kit to make a little scene. To complete the project, I added some sticker, rub on, and stamped snowflakes to the page. I had so much fun making this DIY monthly divider using the Let It Snow Collection!
