Happy Friday all!
Stamps are a wonderful accessory for your memory keeping and planner layouts. With a few different ink colors and perhaps some embossing powders, you can create limitless design elements with stamps. We challenged our design team to create something fun with our To the Sea stamp setss and you are sure to love their ideas! Let's take a look at them right now!
Kristine created this fun layout in her memory planner. "This week in my Happy Planner memory book is going to be where I document my attempts to start learning how to be a great virtual teacher. My school district is starting the year all virtual, and while I am comfortable with some aspects, I am a complete newbie at many others."
"I created this layout as a place for me to write ideas and process my feelings about having to change my whole teaching style after 20 years. Daunting!"
"An adorable and colorful layout will help me keep a positive attitude, and the stamps for this month are so cute! I just had to create a sea scene at the bottom of this spread, and the glitter swirl stickers from the December kits that I had stashed away make the perfect ocean waves. I had fun stamping and coloring all the little fishies and creatures!"
"On the left side, I adhered one of the adhesive pockets and put in a couple of journaling cards with stamped tabs. On the backs, I am going to write affirmations for myself so that when I feel a little defeated, I can cheer myself up. On the right side, I left myself plenty of space to write notes about the programs I’m learning and journal my feelings about this change."
"I used the word stamps to decorate the die cuts at the top of both pages to keep myself in a positive frame of mind. I am really looking forward to using this spread!" We love the gorgeous scenes Kristine creates in her memory planners and we love that she included the glitter swirls from our December 2019 kits!
Now let's see what Melina created for us today. "When I saw these gorgeous stamps this month, I knew immediately that I wanted to color them. I had this idea in my head of a bookmark or page maker I could make for my planner and then later use on a scrapbook page."
"I think this turned out even better than what I imagined! I used my Big Shot die cutting machine and some Spellbinder circle dies to get the look I wanted of an aquarium or port holes. I adhered the die cut paper on top with pop dots to give it lots of depth and dimension."
"When I’m done using this in my planner, I’ll cut the punched hole piece off and it will be ready to add to a page as a handmade embellishment. I have a process video showing how this came together which you can view by clicking here." This is just the cutest idea and how clever Melina is to come up with a design she can use in both her planner and memory keeping album!
Now it's your turn to show us what you are doing with your Cocoa Daisy stamps. Please tag @cocoa_daisy on social media or post in our private facebook group. We hope you have a wonderful crafty weekend.
Stay cool and safe!
