Hello, friends!
Pocket pages are perfect for documenting a day trip with lots of photos and memories to include. No need to fit all the memories on one spread; using pocket pages allows for more room to tell your stories, even if the format is small.

The Wander Collection and the Travel Bonus Kit did all of the heavy lifting when putting these pockets together. I started with this amazing card (trimmed into a tag) from the Wander Traveler's Notebook Memory-Keeping Kit, perfect for a title card.
I adhered another card to the back of the tag and included a map of the place we visited. Under the map, I typed a description of how we got to this island and what we planned to do with our day. On the other side, I used a pocket page with square and horizontal 4x3 pockets, perfect for a few photos and some paper from the collection.
That "always take the scenic route" could not be more perfect for this, don't you think? I find that the structure of pockets actually encourages creativity by making all these mini canvases to decorate. The two square pockets on the right were open, and thought it would be fun to fill them both with paper scraps along with a bit of stamping and of course, stickers!
The pocket cards from the Wander Modern Memory Keeping Kit worked well as backgrounds for photos or for journaling spots. The small scale of the cards makes it so easy to add embellishments to complete the design.
Besides the pocket cards, the stickers from the Wander Memory Keeping Sticker Kit are an absolute must for this format. I used one of the clear quote stickers to fill a blank space in my photo collage, and the word strips on the previous pages. Such a fun day and, thanks to these supplies, the memories are collected in one lovely place.
