Creative Lists for Planning and Memory Keeping

Creative Lists for Planning and Memory Keeping
Hello, friends! Making lists is a normal part of life. We make lists for the grocery store, tasks to complete, inventory of items, future plans, and everything in between. Just because lists are a regular part of our lives, doesn't mean we can't jazz them up every now and then. In today's post, our Creative Team shares a few creative ways to incorporate lists in your memory-keeping and planning routine using the Peach Ridge Collection.   If you have a list of important dates, why not make it cute as April did with this Simple Dori spread.
"I love the hexagons throughout this month’s Kit and used them as inspiration. The “August Important Dates” pocket card from the Peach Ridge Modern Memory Keeping Kit was a perfect way to list and highlight the main events of the month. I plan to punch out key/favorite photos and add them to the page throughout the month.
To create this layout, I started by trimming the hexagons paper from the Peach Ridge Classified Memory Keeping Kit and embellished the hexagon clusters with the stitching stamp from Peach Ridge Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. Finally, I included the title using the puffy alpha stickers from the Peach Ridge Travelers Notebook Kit."

I am a total lover of lists and list-making, which makes creating and incorporating lists one of my most favorite ways to memory keep! For this week in my Cocoa Daisy Daisy Planner that I use for weekly memory planning, I created lists based on four different main categories:
1. Life right now
2. Working on
3. Details
4. Loving
For my lists, I wrote them on strips of glassine bag which many of our beautiful kit products are packaged in each month. I trimmed them down to size and then backed them with a patterned paper from the Peach Ridge Classified Memory Keeping Kit and Peach Ridge Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit.
Pro tip- make sure to use a permanent writing tool to avoid smudging on the slick surface of the glassine bags. I gave each list a chance to dry prior to proceeding to avoid it becoming a smudgy mess. I always love when I can find ways to incorporate and reuse product packaging in my projects!
I finished up this layout using some of the new matte enamel dots which I am obsessed with and embellishments from the Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. Lists are such a great way to document life right now, especially when you don’t have many photos for the week.

One thing on my “To-Do List” is to create a planner dedicated to my favorite quotes. I typed a few quotes and printed them onto the Peach Ridge free printable paper, available to Cocoa Daisy newsletter subscribers. The design is so charming! On the opposite page, I continued the peachy theme by adding paper & a pocket card from the Peach Ridge Modern Memory Keeping Kit.
This dashboard from the Peach Ridge Dashboard Kit was the inspiration for my next project. The quote is dear to me. I believe it 100%! It makes me think about how much I appreciate my husband and the simple things he does for me each day. I framed the quote with butterflies punched from the plaid paper in the Peach Ridge Planner Kit.
Next, I added a favorite quote from my husband onto a pocket card. I used the mint alphas in the Peach Ridge Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. He often surprises me and completes my chores before I get to them. Hearing him say, “It’s done!”, makes my day!
This dashboard with hexagons was the perfect background for my “Honey-Do List”, the subject of today’s Cocoa Daisy Journal Challenge. In this case, my list has a twist: I’ve listed things that he “does” for me that I didn’t request, but I’m happy about! I had fun filling in the hexagons with a mix of things: a photo of my husband, writing, patterned paper from the kits, and a peach patch, for texture, from the Peach Ridge Planner Add On Kit.
