I used a piece of scrapbook paper to create the pocket. I applied runner tape on the edges of three sides, then lined it up with the edges of the notebook. Then I placed a big piece of the PET sticker from the Wisdom & Wonder Deluxe Journaling Kit and a corner of darker scrapbook paper to create the background. Once I laid that all down, I added a little strip of washi tape to tie in the snowflakes. Now the prompts have a place to live!

  

 

 

On the left side of the page, I wanted to keep it simple. I cut a piece of the large PET sticker to create the edge border. With my leftover scrapbook paper from the Wisdom & Wonder Deluxe Journaling Kit, I used my puncher to create the stars. I love using the washi strips to create breaks in the pages, and once I did that, all that was left was adding the PET stickers in the center.

 

 

 

I added something extra, so I taped the piece of vellum from the Wisdom & Wonder Deluxe Journaling Kit over the prompts to act as a curtain/door of sorts. I love any chance to make my pages more interactive! And now i have my journal ready to go, so when January hits, I can start writing out my prompts.
