Create a 6x8 Design with the Wonderland Collection

 Hello, friends!

Scrapbooking in the 6x8 size is the "Goldilocks" of sizes; not too big, not too small but just right! We love how Linda pairs with spread with pocket pages, too!

Linda Jordan: 6x8 Design with Wonderland Kits

I think my favorite part of this kit was the floral transparency that came in the stationery kit. I cropped it down to fit in a pocket (and to leave lots more for other projects!). I definitely could've left it as a transparency to add a see-thru element, but I didn't want to coordinate with the spread on the back, so instead I backed it with a solid colored cardstock. I finished it off my stapling one of the bits of ephemera in the center and slipping this spread into my 6x8 stories album. I hope this spread helped give you some ideas for how to incorporate your Wonderland Collection into your 6x8 projects!

Although the 6x8 page was definitely the star of this spread, I wanted to add in more details, so I paired it with a pocket page. Adding in a pocket page gave me an opportunity to incorporate another photo + some of the cute cards from the Wonderland Modern Memory Keeper Kit.

I absolutely loved 6x8 book patterned paper and knew I wanted it to be the base for my layout. However, I wanted to work outside of the page protector, so I added a strip of solid paper from my stash + paired it with the washi tape from the Wonderland Stationary Kit. I loved the affirmation cards in the kit, but knew that if I didn't use them in projects, they would quickly get lost in my stash so I chose one that really resonated with me and turned it into my title for the spread.

The Wonderland Modern Memory Keeper Kit is perfect for pocket pages or traditional layouts in 6x8, so why not use it for both at once? I have been going back and filling in the gaps in my 2023 album and the Wonderland Collection were perfect to add in some details from last February. I loved the Humpty Dumpty card that said "it's ok if all you did today was survive" because it was such a perfect sentiment for a story that I wanted to tell, a reflection of where I was one year post-divorce.
