Hello, friends! The memory-keeping kits have a few "MVPs" that we receive most months, and one of those is the sheet chipboard elements. The sheets are usually filled with a mix of cute sentiments, shapes, and decorative pieces that can jazz up your layout and provide texture. If you trying to avoid dimension, you can always remove the cardboard backing and use glue to add the chipboard piece as you would a die cut. We asked out Creative Team to design spreads that featuring the chipboard pieces and we are sure you are going to love what they came up with!   Audrey keeps it simple and beautiful with this 12x12 layout. One of the things I absolutely love about Cocoa Daisy is that the products fit perfectly in a quick layout or a detailed layout and look stunning every time!! This layout is a quick one for me, but the result packs so much punch, I just have to say it's stunning. Below is how to do it in 3 easy steps: Step one is all about the paper. I just love the paint swatch paper found in the Wisteria Lane Modern Memory Keeping Kit. This paper was just perfect to use as a base for this photo of my dog Dennis. You don't need to do much to it -- I just splattered some silver paint from my stash to break up the pattern a bit. This gives the layout some dimension or pop if you will. For the next step, I chose a photo that was neutral in color. If your photo has too many colors that clash, turn it to black and white. I backed the photo with a piece of green paper from the Modern Memory Keeping Kit.¬†I chose green because the pattern wasn't too busy and Dennis, my dog is a boy. I then popped up the photo with pop dots from my stash. For step 3, I finished this layout with some chipboard from the Modern Memory Keeping Kit. and the Wisteria Lane Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. I chose chipboard pieces shaped like a circles and that had sentiments that I could use to tell this story. I bunched them on the left side. I then added a few enamel dots, scattered around the chipboard. This layout is simple but makes a statement. I can't wait to see what you do with your chipboards elements! Natasha creates a gorgeous spread with her chipboard details. When it comes to embellishments, despite loving texture in my projects, chipboard is a product that often gets picked last. With this being said, I was excited to participate in today's prompt all about chipboard for a creative challenge to make chipboard the shining star of the layout. For this project, I wanted to build a layout that had a lot of detail but consistency that would surround the various chipboards pieces. To do this I used an assortment of patterned paper from the Wisteria Lane Collection and created a fringe by cutting into the thin strips of paper I had cut down to the desired size. I layered the fringed paper, set my photo, and then moved on to placing my chipboard pieces from the Wisteria Lane Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. I used two of the larger pieces to serve as a title and then used some of the smaller chipboard elements to work in a visual triangle. I really love how this one turned out! I think the chipboard pieces paired with the patterned paper bring in that detail, pattern, and texture I was looking for.   Chipboard can be used in your Simple Dori, as April demonstrates here. Inspired by the rainbow dots page in the Wisteria Lane Simple Dori, I used circles as the main theme of the page. After cutting out photos and pattern papers for the background, I layered corresponding chipboard pieces from the Wisteria Lane Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. To fill in the left side of the layout, I mimicked the color scheme by cutting out pieces of the color swatch page from the Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit¬†and layered them with chipboard pieces.
