Hello crafty friends! It's Tai and I have a traveler’s notebook layout using the Nordic Night Scrapbooking Kit and the Nordic Nights Simple Notebook. The array of blue tones in this collection is amazing and I recently finished a great book in which the cover had midnight blue tones as well. They worked perfectly together.

 

 

The Nordic Nights Simple Notebook is the perfect size to keep your book reviews. It allows you to write just enough to remember the story but not too long; then it seems daunting. I printed my book cover at size 3 inches by 4 inches and matted it on navy patterned paper from the kit. That same patterned paper from the kit, I also used a metal die set of alphas for the word "Book". Using the same paper helps to make your project cohesive.

 

 

 

Once I placed my letters for ‘Book’ on my page I positioned the word ‘review’ underneath it with the kit’s puffy letters. I enjoy the contrast in size for the title and texture. The title alone makes a statement.

 

 

 

I was then able to embellish with a few rub-ons and clear stickers from the kits. To give my book ratings, there was a small star in the kit’s 3x4 stamp set. That was serendipity. Five stars for this book by TJ Klune.

 

 

On the opposite side, I embellished with a few of the die cuts from the scrapbooking kit that worked well on the page. I usually type out my journaling on clear sticker paper, but in this case, I used my penmanship.
