August Setups with the Peach Ridge Collection

August Setups with the Peach Ridge Collection
Hello, friends! As we prepare for a new month and get comfortable with a new collection, we hope you are able to set aside some creative time to set up your planners and journal and map of projects you know you want to create using the Peach Ridge Collection. This collection has warm colors and a mix of country, farm vibes along with some summertime elements, too. Today, our Creative Team shares two ways they reset for a new month with a new kit.¬† When it comes to planner setups, Jennifer loves making her own beautiful dashboards with the kits.¬†¬† I set up my standard size traveler's notebook this month with 5 different dashboards. I use the paper and different kit elements and slide the decorated pages into plastic dashboards for a quick and easy transition from month to month For the first dashboard, I took the striped paper from the Peach Ridge Planner Kit and added the calendar project card from the Peach Ridge Modern Memory Keeping Kit with some washi. I also layered a sun die cut and a quote card from the Peach Ridge Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. I finished this particular dashboard off with the truck adhesive from the Peach Ridge Planner Add On Kit and I love opening my planner to this sight! The second dashboard was quick and easy, too. I took the peachy printed paper from the Peach Ridge Planner Kit and added a personal size dashboard from the Peach Ridge Dashboard Kit with some washi. I finished off the look with some enamel dots. Did you notice the matte finish on the enamel dots this month rather than the usual glitter finish?! It sure does remind me of peach skin. This month, the enamel dots came in the Peach Ridge Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. For dashboards 3, 4, and 5, I followed suit with papers from the Peach Ridge Memory Keeping Kits and the Peach Ridge Planner Kit layered with a personal-size dashboard or pocket card. You can check out my process video below to see how this setup came together. What do you do to get ready for any weekend adventures in creating? I set up my crafting by planning and mapping out projects that I want to do and make them come alive with the beautiful Cocoa Daisy projects. I started this layout by creating a mixed media background with two different yellow paints from my stash. I then scattered the hexagon die cuts from the Peach Ridge Collection down the page using colors that coordinated with my photo. I couldn't resist that cute peach truck hexagon and added that. I then added some chipboards die cuts around the hexagons for some pop and dimension. I love the various shapes and sizes of the chipboards found on the Peach Ridge Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. and the Peach Ridge Modern Memory Keeping Kit. They are perfect for adding a bit of pop. I finished by adding some journaling in the hexagon using my absolute favorite -- the pen that you get in the Peach Ridge Planner Kit each month. Fun tip, the hexagon journaling is a sticky note pad found in the Peach Ridge Modern Memory Keeping Kit. I used it for my journaling. Cheers friends!!   How do you prepare for a new month with a new collection like Peach Ridge Collection? Share with us by tagging @cocoa_daisy on social media or posting to the Cocoa Daisy Fan Page.
