Tip Tuesday: Multiple Photos with Home Sweet Home
Hello, friends!
Sometimes, one photo just isn’t enough for a memory-keeping spread. Here are few tips for adding multiple photos to your layouts.
Ashley Horton: Tip Tuesday Multiple Photos
I love a good grid on my layouts! It let's you add multiple photos, but also creates a clean look on your project. And one of the fun things about a grid, is that you can get creative with it. I created a grid on this TN layout, using circle photos.
I cropped my photos into circles in my Adobe Illustrator software, and sized them to 1.75 inches. Once they were printed, I used my 2 inch punch to punch them out. This gave me the perfect size for my layout and gave me the fun white border around my photos. Then I placed my photos in a column grid design on the center layout in the Simple Notebook from the Home Sweet Home Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit.
After I had all of my photos in place, I added a title using the puffy alphas from the Home Sweet Home Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. Then I started adding embellishments to my photos. I used a mix of adhesive die cuts, wood veneers, and chipboard pieces from the Home Sweet Home Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit and Home Sweet Home Modern Memory Keeping Kit.
This grid was such a fun way to add multiple photos to my layout. When you are scrapping smaller in a Traveler's Notebook, it may seem intimidating to include a lot of photos, but this grid method definitely keeps the photos from overwhelming your page! I hope you will try a grid design, to include multiple photos on one of your Cocoa Daisy projects! You can see how my layout came together, by checking out my Instagram Reel.
