Add Scripture Writing to your TN!
Hello, Daisies! Today, I'm sharing a few things I created using the Treetop Canopy Bible Journaling Sticker Kit. The kit comes with 6 sheets of sticky heaven: clear, matte stickers, alphabets, labels, washi, phrases, & whimsical forest animals. The first thing I looked at was the colorful phrases sheet. It has so many phrases to choose from! Next, I thought about what scripture passages were important to me. And third, I thought about how to blend the two items. Honestly, it took me a while to choose the right verse! However, I did look at it as an opportunity to spend more time with God. Have you ever had trouble choosing Bible passages? If so, try the "Bible Gateway" website. You can look up passages by theme, or verse. It also provides numerous Bible translations for referenence, such as the King James Version (KJV), New International Version (NIV), and the Living Bible (TLB) - - just to name a few. Here's a link to the site:¬†Bible Gateway. Here's a look at my TN spread for Matthew 6:31-33. It's a colorful reminder for me to stop worrying! Ha, ha! For my scripture writing, I'm using the SimpleDori notebook from March's Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. ¬†The animals on the right page are from the¬†Bible Journaling Sticker Kit. The frame the animals are in is actually cardboard lining from Cocoa Daisy's Treetop Canopy kits' packaging. He, he, he! The frame on the right page and the butterflies were made from metal die-cuts that I used with my Sizzix machine. Here's a photo of the products I used:   The butterfly die cuts were made from patterned paper from the¬†Treetop Canopy Planner Kit. It may be hard to tell, but I only adhered the right side of each butterfly to the page, so it would look like the butterflies are floating. Plus, for the butterflies on the right side of the page, it's easier to close the notebook. Their wings are already folded (and their right wing is taped down). The last thing I created was a simple journal card. I added one of the clear, matte stickers to the back of a Pocket Card. Then, I rounded the corners of the card to give it a softer look. I love the watercolor background, and there's space to journal on the back of the card. Here's a closer look: Thanks so much for joining me today!
