Hello Daisies!
Today’s blog theme is sweet treats and design team members Ria and Kristine are sharing their unique take on the theme. Ria is using the Noted kits while Kristine has created her design with Love Notes. Let’s begin with Ria’s scrumptious layouts!
“Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing layouts that will hopefully make you hungry … for something sweet and for crafting! I’ve had this dessert journal for about 2 years now. I have totally neglected it, so this time, I was on a roll creating 4 layouts using the Noted kit.”
“This pink ledger patterned paper is gorgeous! I gathered all the other pink elements just to match it. I love that the chipboard stickers and the enamel dots add texture to the page.”
“I like working in a monochromatic design because it is so ‘clean’ looking. I used my greens for this page. The alpha stickers make great titles for any project.”
“Here’s another layout done in green. Even though I have taken a break from pocket scrapbooking, I love that pocket cards can still be used in layouts such as this.”
“In this layout, I used another pocket card. If there is a color combination that I love, it would be black and white. This combo allows the pops of color from my photo to stand out.”
We are loving Ria’s dessert journal and all the ways she incorporated kit elements to document her desserts and goals. Ria’s designs have a simple elegance that draw you in immediately. A monochromatic approach is a great way to create this effect.
Now let’s see what Kristine is sharing today.
“I was so excited to see the macaron sticky notes in the Planner Kit this month, and I knew I had to use them for this “sweet treats” layout!”
“Since February begins on a Saturday, I had lots and lots of open space to work with on the left side of this layout. So I decided to use the macaron stickies for my February “currently” list.”
“I ran the stickies through my Xyron sticker maker, and used alphas from the Pocket Memory Keeping, Memory Keeping Sticker, and Planner Add-On Kits for my categories.”
“A sweet dashboard on the left side and some washi top and bottom finishes it off nicely. I’m going to have a lot of fun filling these pages out!”
Kristine’s Happy Planner designs are thoughtful, creative, and in this case super sweet. We love all the cute ideas she has for documenting life!
Thanks for joining us today and please share your memory keeping layouts with us in the Memory Keeping Facebook group.
Take care!
