To the Sea and Plan with Me!

To the Sea and Plan with Me!

Hey, Planner Friends! Rachel here and I here to share a week in my planner using the To the Sea kits! This month's theme makes me feel all the summer beach vibes, and with COVID-19 keeping me indoors, I am glad that at least my planner can get the full benefit of all those good summer vibes! I've switched things up a bit and have move into a half letter disc-bound planner system using inserts from Plan2Create. I have my planner tucked inside my A5 Bullet Journal Cover from Websters Pages. Let's take a look inside! As always, I like to start with my pocket decoration. I slipped a pocket card in the window pocket and added a few other items from the Memory Keeping Classified Kit along with the note pad from the Planner Kit. I discovered that the elastics up top are perfect for showcasing clips, I adore that turtle clip and was happy to find a place to display it in my planner! If you are interested, you see the full flip through of this planner on my Youtube Channel. On to the weekly spread! To start, I placed washi down to anchor the days of the week stickers from the Planner Classified Kit , then added the numbers from the Planner Add-on Kit. I wanted to make sure to use the rub-on's that I received in the Memory Keeping Kits and the Planner Kit, as rub-on's tend to have a slight "expiration date". I decided to add two rub-on's to the bottom corner on the left page and under the Saturday column on the right page. Rub-on's are such a fun and easy way to add a little bit of decoration to your page. After the foundation was done, I worked on sticker clusters, heavily inspired by my friend Natasha. Even though I don't have many events or appointments right now, I still like to make these little daily clusters, to help give me a focus for the day. I love this little cluster with the checklist as decoration! Lately, I've been using Mildliners to make my checklists, so I was looking for other ways to use these checklists and I think this turned out great! To finish, I pulled out my stamps with a few coordinating colors to add a few sentiments and decoration around the page. I like to stamp in three's, especially when I'm using colored stamps. My planner inserts don't have a sidebar, something I have found very handy, so I decided to make my own! I pulled a few pages from the Standard Dori and make very FUNctional list of key things that I need to remember or track. And let's be honest, it's really just an excuse to use that adorable washi from the Planner Add-on Kit with the icons from the Planner Kit. Here is how it looks inside the planner. This is something I love about the disc system. I love adding little inserts inside my weekly pages. Lastly, I wanted to share the page marker I made with a piece of acetate from my stash and the rub-on's. I got the idea from Kristine, and I love it! I love this little cluster of rub-on's, because life IS better in flip flops! Thank you for stopping by today. Make sure to check out my Plan with Me video up on my YouTube Channel. Until next time!
