The Right Way to Plan is What Works For You

The Right Way to Plan is What Works For You
Hello, friends! Today, we are sharing three different ways to use the Wisteria Lane Collection on your planner pages. Some of us like to focus on the monthly view for our plans, while others find weekly planning the most effective. And while planners are typically used for planning upcoming tasks and to-do's, they can also be a great format for memory keeping. Go ahead and grab your planner, your kits, and come plan with us!
Tanti likes to make sure her monthly planner pages are pretty and functional.
I love creating my own monthly view spread in my Wisteria Lane Daisy Dori planner. Today, I want to share the details of that spread.
The size of each box is 2.5 cm x 3 cm and I love to mark the weekend section using highlighters. I love that Cocoa Daisy included the days of the week stickers in the Wisteria Lane Classified Planner Kit in different sizes so that I always find the right size for my monthly spread.
I marked the spread using one of the tab stickers from the Wisteria Lane Planner Kit for easy opening. I also stuck the monthly view sticker from the same kit onto the tab.
The mini birthday sticker from the Wisteria Lane Planner Add-on Kit has the right size to mark the birthday on this spread.
For the very important appointment, I like to add an extra sticker to point that out. This one is from the Wisteria Lane Planner Add-on Kit. I usually use the blank space on the right side of this spread to write my monthly to-do list and the to-do sticker is from the planner sticker kit.
Kylie used the Wisteria Lane Free Printables to create temporary planning space as she waits for her kits to arrive.
I've been setting up a temporary planning space for July in my Cocoa Daisy planner using only the Wisteria Lane Free Printables.
I fussy cut some of the decorative lemons to add as corner features on my monthly spread. They seemed to frame the pages so nicely and add a beautiful 'burst' of colour. I also fussy cut one of the tracker squares to add into the note column.
I trimmed one of the A5 decorative note pages to fit my planner before punching space for my discs. I couldn't resist adding a fun quote with some of the Cocoa Daisy Alpha stamps which layer beautifully. I also fussy cut more lemons to add even more colour.
I added the longer page mark printable to my pages as a notecard. It was the perfect length to fit in my Daisy Planner. Two of the 3"x 4" cards were added to the back making it double-sided.
The numeric stamps from the same Alpha stamp set were perfect for marking my dates for the week. I also fussy cut smaller elements and you guessed it....more lemons to add to my page for the week ahead.
Memory planning is Jennie's favorite way to utilize her Cocoa Daisy Kits.
Memory planning is the best form of planning I do. It's definitely a hybrid system that includes activities and appointments along with photos and journaling when it fits!
I start with my photos, then I add in my visual triangle of embellishments, in this case, stickers.
I include 3 main parts in each cluster: a background, an anchor, and then an accent. For this spread, I embellished with stickers from the Wisteria Lane Memory Keeping Sticker Kit, perfectly sized for the letter-size Happy Planner.
Once the embellishing is finished I include the plans and if there is room, journaling. Most weeks, there is room for journaling but on weeks like these, it just won't fit. Either way, I love this memory planner!
