Scrap Small Saturday: Home Sweet Home Kits

Hello, friends!

We are wrapping up our time with the Home Sweet Home Collection with Scrap Small Saturday!

Marsha Farris: Scrap Small Saturday

I enjoy memory keeping in smaller formats, especially traveler's notebooks! The pages come together quickly and easily in this small size. For my project today, I'm sharing a fun interactive traveler's notebook layout using the beautiful Home Sweet Home Collection.

To begin the project, I selected a spread in the Simple Daisy Notebook to serve as a base for my layout. I love the oversized tags from the Home Sweet Home Classified Memory Keeping kit, so I chose one to include on the page. I also selected a pocket card from the Home Sweet Home Modern Memory Keeping Kit and paired it with the large tag to create a pocket. I added a notch at the top of the card using a small circle punch to allow the small journaling tag to slide in and out of the pocket easily.

I printed my journaling on clear matte label sticker paper and added it to a small tag from a previous kit. To decorate the journaling tag, I added trimmed patterned paper and included a bit of stamping with the Home Sweet Home Modern Memory Keeping Kit stamp.

For the other page of the spread, I added my photo and stamped the title with the stamp from the Home Sweet Home Modern Memory Keeping Kit. Next, I embellished the page with chipboard stickers and a rub-on from the Home Sweet Home Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. To complete the page, I stamped the date with a roller date stamp from my stash and added a phrase sticker from the Home Sweet Home Memory Keeping Sticker Kit to my photo.

I enjoyed making this small format Simple Daisy Notebook spread using the Home Sweet Home Collection! Check out my process video for this layout here on Instagram. Happy creating!
