Pocket Page Love with Our Solstice Kits
Hello friends, Welcome to September! Today we are sharing our love of pocket pages and featuring the Solstice pocket memory keeping kit. Pocket pages are a straightforward way to preserve your photos and memories. You can add simple to complex journaling and include any number of photos you want to tell a story. If you have an extra pocket or two, pocket cards can be used in the empty spaces to enhance your storytelling without adding stress or pressure. As we will see today, almost any pocket card can compliment your documentation. Casie is sharing several pocket layouts today which are a great example of uncomplicated storytelling in pockets. "Hi Daisy Fans! I am sharing a pocket page layout documenting back to school times. As soon as I opened the Memory Keeping Pocket Kit, I saw the back to school card and "here we go again" card and knew that was the foundation of this layout." "I love the blend of blues and yellows throughout the layout and carried those colors into the chipboards I used on the photos as well as the die cuts on the memory planner pages. The 4x3 cards were created with patterned paper, part of a 2x3 journal card, and a tab I attached at the top. They coordinate with the color scheme and bring an extra title feature to the top of the pockets." "For the card with journaling, I covered the original title with a strip of patterned paper and added a blue chipboard piece to tie into the layout." "Back to school is very different this year and I love that the Cocoa Daisy Pocket cards helped me document the story." Casie's layout is delightful and is a great example of the versatility of the Solstice kits. You can document your love of the moon and stars, create gorgeous 12x12 layouts about a concert, and tell stories about the first day of school. We encourage you to share your memory keeping and planner designs with us by tagging @cocoa_daisy on social media or posting in our Cocoa Daisy Fans private facebook group. Be safe and well! ~Robin
