Hello and happy weekend friends! Our classified memory keeping kit is extremely versatile and a fun treat each month. I love to open it up and see what fun things Christine has chosen to include in each kit. And all of the items are complimentary to the planner, pocket, and traveler's notebook kits too! Today our design team is sharing their lovely designs made with classified kit items from Solstice. Odessa documented a beautiful night sky in her traveler's notebook. She tells us, "The Memory Keeping Classified Kit is the first thing I open when my kits come. It always has those perfect little touches for my pages." "This month it was full of sequins and stars and some beautiful alpha stickers and some nice larger papers. I knew it would go perfect with a night sky photo I wanted to add to my Traveler’s Notebook. I used the vellum from the Classified Kit on one side of my page and a 6x8 page protector that I trimmed down to a Traveler’s Notebook size on the other." "Sequins are so fun and I love the shimmery purple ones that came in the Memory Keeping Classified Kit. I adhered the photo in the middle of the protector and stitched around it with my sewing machine. I then sewed around the outside, adding sequins, wood stars and those cute gold vellum stars from the Memory Keeping Kits to make a full page shaker pocket. I used paint markers to colour the wood stars and make them match my page well." "On the vellum I used the purple and the gold puffy alpha stickers from the Classified Kit to make a title with some favourite song lyrics. With such a gorgeous vellum paper and so much sparkle on the other side I didn’t add anything else to keep it simple. It all came together so well!" Odessa's shaker pocket is a stunning frame for her photo. There are many beautiful details in Odessa's layout and we adore them all. Brande is sharing a beautiful 12x12 layout today. "The Classified Memory Keeping Kit is always such a fun surprise each month - one of my favorite and for sure the first kit I open when the Cocoa Daisy happy mail arrives." "This month’s Classified Kit was as exciting as ever - all blues and purples and sequins and wood grains. So much fantastic color and textures inspiring night skies and sweet dream designs. Perfect for documenting bedtime story photos." "I started with the Pretty Little Studio vellum from the Kit and a night skies die from PinkFresh Studio in my stash for a design jumping off point. From there, I created a diagonal design with modeling paste and blues and purple paints to match the Kit goodies. I also used that same purple paint to color the wood veneer stars from Freckled Fawn in the Kit and confetti’d those and the die cut stars across the star texture." "Then some simple, angled paper layers from the Kit with a couple layers of white tissue paper to soften the colors just a bit. I love how it turned out!"
