I chose a spread in my Marigold & Honey SimpleDaisy Notebook that showcases both a simple ledger and patterned paper. All those cute branches and floral die cuts in the Marigold & Honey Creative kit needed to be featured in this spread, so I decided to use them to create a focal point in the journaling/title page.

 

 

The small pocket-like die cut in the Marigold & Honey Creative kit serves to hold all the pieces at the top of the page. I also added a few of the rub-ons from the kit to bulk up the cluster. The page needed a sentiment, so I cut the small white phrase piece from one of the cards in the Marigold & Honey Creative kit.

 

 

The space below the cluster was the perfect spot for the journaling. I needed to find a way to tie all the parts of the spread together. I pulled the butterfly paper from the Marigold & Honey Creative kit and carefully fussy cut a few of them and used them around the spread.

  

  

I wanted a layered feel for the photo side of the spread; that meant playing with pieces from the Marigold & Honey Creative kit to frame the photo and add embellishments to the corners of the photo. The sentiment at the bottom of the photo works as the title for the spread, and it was cut from one of the cards in the Marigold & Honey Creative kit. I just love how this all turned out, and I hope that it provides inspiration to document your memories in your Marigold & Honey SimpleDaisy Notebook using your Marigold & Honey Creative kit!
