When I'm putting a spread together, the first thing I usually think about is any borders or accents I want to create. I was immediately drawn to this plaid scrapbook paper as it has the colors and tones I wanted to include without being too busy. I distressed the white edges of the ripped paper with the Tim Holtz mini distress ink cube.

 

   

Once I laid down the paper, I wanted some additional elements that screamed "fall" to me, so I selected some die-cut stickers to put on top. I loved the decorative cards and selected a few that I felt captured fall in the way that I see it. I chose three and placed them throughout the spread.

 

 

 

At this point, I added some washi tape to create dividers on the spread so I could add some additional vellum stickers and rub-ons to complete the spread. I love how this page came out, and it had me reminiscing on past fall seasons as well as getting me excited for the season up ahead!
