Hello Cocoa Daisy friends! It's Nathalie here to share a new layout featuring the Nordic Nights Creative Kit and the Nordic Nights Scrapbooking Kit in my Nordic Nights Simple Notebook. The winter elements in the kit's design helped me document memories from our Canadian winters.

The Stamp set in the Nordic Nights Creative Kit was the starting point for this layout. I chose to heat emboss extra snowflakes onto the printed designs on the page. The dark color in the background helps to bring the details of the snowflakes forward. I added the picture of our 14-year-old puppy playing in the snow in the center of the spread and added one of the shimmer snowflake die cuts from the Nordic Nights Scrapbooking Kit as embellishment/subtitle on this side of the spread.

To enhance the wintery feel of the photos, I used the stamp to create a border of snowflakes on the right edge of the lined paper of the spread. I also heat-embossed a few snowflakes on one of the 3x4 cards that came in the kit using the ink and embossing powder in the Nordic Nights Creative Kit.

I used the card as an interactive element on my page. So, I scored the top edge of the card and secured the small flap behind the photo before adhering it to the page.

 I used the back of the card for my journaling; I took advantage of the rub-ons, stamps, and stickers in the Nordic Nights Scrapbooking Kit and Nordic Nights Creative Kit to embellish the journaling and photo with a small title at the bottom of the picture.
