Hello, friends! Today we are featuring small scale scrapbooking projects. Sizing down a project is a great way to dip your toes Into memory keeping or put together a spread quickly.  

Laurie Grabarkewitz: Classified Planner Kit Notebook

I knew as soon as I saw the small grid notebook included in the Autumn Thicket Classified: Planner Kit that I wanted to incorporate it into my small everyday carry pocket sized TN. ¬†I decorated the cover with some of the papers and cut down one of the personal sized dashboards from the Autumn Thicket Planner Dashboard Kit. I added a puffy sticker from a previous collection. I also dressed up the cover of the other insert I have in there with a pocket card backed with some of the papers from the kit and one of the stickers.   The third element of this set-up is the small envelope pouch I made using the craft cover from the Autumn Thicket B6 Daisy Dori.¬†Again I used some of the papers from the kit and some washi tape to dress it up. I divided my sections within the notebook with some of the papers cut down to size and folded over the page. I kept it in place with the cute leaf paperclips from the Autumn Thicket Modern Memory Keeping Kit. This way if I want to add or subtract pages from a section I can do so because the paperclip attachment isn't permanent. I also tucked a pocket card into each section. I decorated the inside cover with more of the papers and added some of the list sticky notes.I love how versatile this little notebook has proved to be this month!    

Amy Argyros: Pocket Cards with a Travelers Notebook

I love creating layouts and telling stories on a small scale. Pocket cards and travelers notebooks are my favorite, and I love when I merge the two sizes together in my 6x8 project life album. Working on a travelers notebook sized layout gives me the opportunity to try out and have fun with different products I wouldn‚Äôt typically use on pocket cards, and it gives my album some variety with the different sized pages. Today I am sharing a layout I put together using Cocoa DaIsy‚Äôs Doodles & Dashes II Modern Memory Keeping Kit. There is always a pocket card or two that serves as a great for story starter. This month I was inspired to tell a story using the quote card ‚Äúshe believed she could, but her dog was asleep on her lap so she didn‚Äôt.‚Äù Although I do not have a dog, it was the perfect card for me to tell a story about my cat Whiskers and how she loves to awkwardly snuggle up. I just made a little modification using the tile alphabet stickers from the Doodles & Dashes II Memory Keeping Sticker Kit¬†to replace the word dog with cat. Then I was off to type up my story. I printed out my journaling on matte sticker paper and adhered it on a pretty floral pocket card. I selected the colorful plaid pattern paper found in the Doodles & Dashes II Modern Memory Keeping Kit, cut it to travelers notebook size, mounted my photo on a coordinating card stock I had in my stash and created two clusters to place on my layout using die cuts, enamel dots and a chipboard piece from the Doodles & Dashes II Modern Memory Keeping Kit. I added a little messy thread. I then pulled out theDoodles & Dashes II Memory Keeping Sticker Kit and selected a couple of word phrase stickers that worked with the story I was telling‚Ķand my layout was complete!
