Planning with the Personal Size Planner Inserts

Planning with the Personal Size Planner Inserts

 Hello, friends!

Planning has never been easier, thanks to the From the Garden Personal Size Planner Inserts! Keep reading to see how I plan my week and utilize the monthly and daily pages to do so.

I'll admit, I like to jump into different planner formats and sizes but that doesn't mean my planning system needs to change! When it comes to planning out a week, I always start with I what I know based on my monthly spread. All of the events, deadlines are first noted on monthly spread. Here, I used the monthly spread From the Garden Personal Size Planner Inserts and a few stickers from the From the Garden Planner Kit to highlight the key events for the month.

Before jumping into my weekly spread, I like to do a brain dump. Anytime I can get thoughts out of my head and onto paper is a win. Using the blank grid pages in between the weekly spreads in the From the Garden Personal Size Planner Inserts is the perfect place for a brain dump. With all my scattered thoughts written down, I'm able to identify which tasks are priorities and which ones are just hopeful to-dos.

With my mind clutter-free (for a few minutes!), I am not ready to plan out my week. For these horizontal pages, I like to split each day into events/scheduled items and the top tasks for the day. Splitting the page was easy thanks to the colored pencil that came in the From the Garden Planner KitWith the monthly spread and the brain dump as my reference, I start plugging in the "anchors" (scheduled items). The label boxes in the From the Garden Classic Cousin Sticker Kit are great for highlighting scheduled events. I also like to use icons to "schedule" things that are a priority like exercise. When you're schedule is flexible, it helps to create some structure, like you would an appointment or a meeting.

I'm a big fan of time-blocking, but it's difficult to do that on the weekly pages. Which is why I adore the daily pages that come with the From the Garden Personal Size Planner Inserts. I am able to create a detailed list of my tasks while also creating and hourly schedule on the blank grid page.
