I loved the seashell pattern in this spread in my Coconut Cove Simple Daisy Notebook and wanted to use it as a starting point for my memory of a walk on the shore. So, it makes sense to bring the wave pattern paper from the 6x8 paper pad in the Coconut Cove Creative kit on the left side of the notebook. Then to tie the pages together, I decided to create a bottom paper strip using more patterned paper and pull some of the colors of the collection and unify the spread.

 

 

To make the story work, I needed to trim my picture so it fits on two sides of my Coconut Cove Simple Daisy Notebook. To frame the photo and separate it from the background, I used one of cards in the  Coconut Cove Creative kit to frame the photo (trimming it to fit on both sides of the spread). I added die cuts to the left of the photo, then created a title by cutting it from another card from the Coconut Cove Creative kit and setting it on the left side of the photo.

 

 

I decided to make the picture pop from the spread a bit more by adding a cluster of die cuts and a large card from the Coconut Cove Creative kit. I made sure that the photo sits between the sentiment in the card. Then I decided to add some of the stamped icons and sentiments from the Make A Splash Stamp set to the clusters and around the photo.

 

 

To finish, I added my journaling on the spread and added a few extra stamped images to bring it all together.
