I wanted to showcase a large photo in my Field Notes and Florals Simple Daisy Notebook. I love having a large view of a slice of my day in this format. However, I am always careful to size my photo so that I don’t have to cut through faces when trimming it to fit in my notebook.

 

 

Since the photo is black and white, all the accents added on it pop nicely, So, I pulled a few chipboard pieces, rub-ons, die cuts, and enamel dots from the Field Notes and Florals Scrapboooking Kit to create clusters at the center top and bottom left of the photo -these happen to fall on the left side of the spread.

  

  

The negative space on the right of the photo presents the perfect spot for adding journaling and extra embellishments. I started with adding rub on pieces from the Field Notes and Florals Scrapboooking Kit to the top right of the spread and at the bottom right corner of the photo. The stamp included in this kit features small sentiments that help with journaling, so I added a partial image as a guide for my journaling lines.

 

  

To complete this spread I used pieces from the Rub-ons, Puffy alpha stickers, and enamel dots that are included in the Field Notes and Florals Scrapboooking Kit to create the title of the spread at the bottom right corner of the spread.
