Make Goal Setting Fun with a Bingo Card!

Make Goal Setting Fun with a Bingo Card!

Hello, friends!

We are several weeks into the new year, and maybe, like me, you are looking at that vision board, your 2025 goals list, bucket list, or general to-do list thinking "Why can't I make progress?" or "Why is it so hard to do things, even things I want to do?". Your brain needs a different visual cue, one that looks pretty and feels like a game!  Are you ready to nudge your brain into action? How about a Bingo Card?

Bingo cards are an awesome way to gamify goal setting and task initiation. I made this Bing Card using the Serenity Classic Inserts and stickers from the various sticker kits. I wanted to focus on a mix of things I need to do but don’t have much motivation to do (not urgent, not “fun”) and items that I enjoy but sometimes talk myself out of doing. The bingo card is a visual reminder that I can track with rewards for completing tasks. Win win for me!

To make the Bingo Card, I started with Serenity Classic Inserts and created a grid on the blank page before the Monthly Calendar. I outlined the grid with the pen from the Serenity Planner Kit. For the squares, I used icon stickers from the Serenity Classic Sticker Kit to inspire the goal and embellished them with stickers from the same kit.

I was so excited to see an alpha stamp and number stamp set in the Serenity Collection and used it to stamp out the month. Next, I grabbed the alpha stickers from the Serenity Creative Kit to add the "bingo card" to the header.

The hardest part of the whole layout was deciding on my bingo rewards! This was so fun to put together and a great practice for figuring out what matters to me in this season of life and creating a fun way to meet my goals!
