The acetate overlay in the Gather and Glow Stationery Kit was an overall design with a repeating pattern. I was thinking of isolating some of the bird and leaf groupings to make the page a little less busy and more focused on what I wanted to showcase in my Gather and Glow Standard Notebook.

Underneath the acetate overlay, I strategically paced many of the Gather and Glow Stationery Kit items like the adhesive backed vellum die cuts, decorative stickers and card stock labels to create a place for the "birds" to rest on and also a basic fall picture from my backyard. By placing them in the right spots the objects on the overlay popped off the page more!

The corresponding page I wanted to place some larger items to oppose the small size of the acetate overlay. A simple large page divider flanked by 2 opposing flowers along with a card stock label with the 'notes' wording on top which came from the Gather and Glow Stationery Kit sticky notes. It was a challenge to place things just right were they need to go, but the effect is definitely worth it!
