Hello, friends!
There are so many studies that demonstrate the benefits of keeping a journal. Journaling helps reduce stress, increase confidence, improve mindfulness and help connect us to our goals. Our products can help you make your journal a beautiful keepsake to treasure.
Aaron's used the Cactus Moon Collection for her faith journaling.
"Currently, I am studying Ecclesiastes and used the Cactus Moon Collection to illuminate my reflection. I am using the large illustrating Bible for this bible page. I used the beautiful card stock from the Cactus Moon Modern Memory Keeping Kit to start to get the incredible idea for this page. Then I fussy cut elements from Cactus Moon Planner Printables the digital version of this month's kit.
For "Word Study Wednesday", I used a word focus card from Open Journey. The background was part of the Cactus Moon Planner Printables! The digital download makes it easy to create a background and it's best to keep things simple when you’re doing a word focus study. The love grows here sticker from the Cactus Moon Bible Journaling Sticker Kitwas perfect for this project. And I use the enamel dots from last the Elegance Blooms Collection to add a finishing touch to the card. The Cocoa Daisy Kits are perfect to mix and match each month!
I was inspired by the idea of hope in the darkness from the Cactus Moon Collection and was able to create many pages from this starting point. I got my idea from the stock card from the Cactus Moon Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit and the sticker from the Cactus Moon Planner Sticker Kit. It was a dark blue sticker with a moon and cactus that said "Only in the darkness can you see the stars!" Ohhh how that opened so many doors in my study. I painted the pages with blue acrylic paint. With some bright white splatter paint. Using the digital version and the floral stickers from the add-on sticker pages this page came alive!
I used the acetate page that came in the Cactus Moon Classified: Planner Kit on the opposite page to look like a stencil. It looks incredible in the bible when you want to add such rich color and you are not always sure how to make that happen!"
Jennie is jumping into all the journals this year!
"2022 is the year of the journal for me and I cannot wait to walk you through a little bit of what I've been doing this year. I'm using 3 different journals and I'm so excited about all three of them. One is a reading journal, one is a journal that I'm recording a memory a day in and the third is a journal I'm using prompts in to document who I am right now.
My reading journal is a plain standard size traveler's notebook insert. I have a lot of these in my stash AND I really love creating this size layout. So this seemed natural. For this layout, I used both the Cactus Moon Collection, but also mixed in some elements from the My Escape Collection, as well. They went together nicely I think. I kept this pretty simple beyond the photos of the covers and some documenting of my thoughts. Watch me work in this process video below.

The next is an A5 dot-grid journal that I am recording a memory per day. I love the DIY planners [often referred to as bujo or bullet journals] but don't prefer this method for my personal, functional planning. This journaling method is so much fun for me and really allows me to memory keep and be creative.
This layout is only my pen, the Whimsical Weeds Stamp Set, and some random number stickers from my stash. See how this spread came together in the video below.

The last type of journaling, all about me guided by prompts, is done in the horizontal pages of the Daisy Planner. This all-in-one planner is really coming in handy this year and I'm having a lot of fun with the different [to me] formats.
I kept these two weeks quite simple, focusing heavily on the visual triangle and layering stickers in both designs. That is so easy to do with Cocoa Daisy stickers, particularly these stickers from the Cactus Moon Classic Sticker Kit as they are so varied and very easy to use. Join me as I lay the foundation for this spread in the video below."
