Kim Oedekoven: Ideas for Incorporating Vellum Papers

A lot of the times I keep the Vellum from the Stationery Kit whole, turning it into various fun bits like a barn door, a box or just a low key divider dashboard. This time I'm cutting the Field Notes and Florals Stationery Kit Vellum using my Cricut into 2.5 inch circles.

Thinking about how to use them as hidden element helpers in my planner was a new way for me to have fun in my weekly view. After cutting them out I slit about a 2 inch between three of the day sections then placed a circle into each one and adhered them on the backside of the page. This allows me to still write on the striped page but still some dominant features on the page.

On the facing page I continued the day segments across and added the days of the week stickers that are also included in the Field Notes and Florals Stationery Kit to make my own daily priority page. Adding a little scalloped feature was a achieved using just a edge trim of some of the remaining circles.

The backside is a little bit less structured and organic creating clusters from the back of the circles. I did add a sticky note for some writing space and even one of the scalloped trimmed circles to create another cute decorative cluster.
