Hello, friends! In today‚Äôs post, we are featuring a product staple for several of the kits and a specialty product that we are always excited to receive. Yes, we are talking about die cuts and rub-ons! Die-cuts can be found in several of the kits, including both Memory Keeping Kits, both Classified Kits, the Planner Kit, and the Planner Add-on kit. They are in so many kits because they are so easy to embellish with, especially with the adhesive backing. The rub-on‚Äôs show up every few months and we are so glad they do. For those needing a flatter embellishment than a die cut, rub-on‚Äôs are for you. We asked our Creative Team to work with these two products to embellish their spreads, and they gladly accepted the challenge! First, has a quick tutorial for using the rub-ons. [embed]https://youtu.be/eckNOYmc9pc[/embed]     Next, we have a memory planner spread from Jennie featuring a few fun tips and tricks. "Having die-cuts and rub-ons to add to projects is such a fun way to document. I love stamping and stickers, they are equally as enjoyable. However, I really love the texture and dimension that die-cuts and rub-ons add, easily. One of the huge benefits of both of these in the Cocoa Daisy kits is the fact that you do not need adhesive for either. So simple! One of the things I love about the die cuts is that not only are they easy to layer, but they also add a bit of heft to each project. For the rub-ons, they are just plain fun. Not only that, they can be used almost anywhere, including layered on top of photos, seamlessly. It often looks like those elements are part of the photo."   Natasha went neutral with this colorful collection and we love it! "Today, I am sharing this super cute and easy layout all about my new 2022 planner. Of course, you know you‚Äôre a true planner girl when you scrap about your latest planner obsession. To put together this layout I took apart my Confetti Wishes Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit¬†by gently removing the staples, pulling out the desired sheet, and cutting the page down in the middle to be able to punch them and put them in my album. Through my layout, I used the rubs to work as different layers. Here are a few examples of how I used the die Don‚Äôt be afraid to layer your rub ons with diecuts. Here, I first laid down a rub on, next a die-cut, then more rub ons. Using florals the same size gives it a cohesive look. Did you know you can put rubs directly onto your photos? This is probably my most favorite detail of this project. I cut the tiny washi strip image from the sheet and applied it directly on the top of my photo giving the look as if I had put down a piece of washi tape! For this layout I did my journaling on a separate card that I punched and then put in my album, to give it a cohesive look I stuck with the black and white, with the hint of the peachy pink flower to match the colors in my spread. This type of embellishments always helps in bringing in a cohesive look."     Planning is always a little more fun with these cheery embellishments! Die-cuts and rub-on's are a great addition to your planner pages. Since they are typically larger than planner stickers, you can create fun clusters that pop on the page. I love these snarky quotes, found in the Confetti Wishes Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. A little trick with rub-ons: you can choose how much of the image you want to transfer like I did with the doodle circle.¬† Die-cuts can add a little bulk to your planner pages, so I place them in low-priority places on the page. The white die-cut against the rainbow pattern paper is very pleasing, don't you think? To make the background, I used a page from my Confetti Wishes Simple Dori and trimmed it to the box size. Creating more structure for my day was a goal this week. I assigned a main task for each day and embellished it with a die-cut, to loosely represent the task.
