Day Trip Documenting with Booked For Spring
 Hello, friends!

Nathalie DeSousa: Day Trip Documenting with Booked For Spring

Hi there! It’s Nathalie with you today to share some inspiration for your SimpleDaisy Notebook featuring fun and colorful Booked for Spring Scrapbooking Kit. I loved combining pieces from the kit together to document a day trip during our latest vacation.

I chose a spread that had a combination of patterned paper and simple ledger in the SimpleDaisy notebook. Using the stamp included in the kit and plain black ink, I created three (3) images onto a piece of the white paper also included in the Booked for Spring Scrapbooking Kit. I then used a craft knife to separate the images from the paper and open the inside of the frames, too. This opens the frames for pictures, and it is a fun way to add multiple pictures in a small space.

I placed the framed images on a column on the patterned paper side of the spread then used the Booked for Spring Scrapbooking Kit stamp to add sentiments to each of the images. I added some of clear circle stickers and enamel dots -also in the kit- to complete the page.

For my title/journaling side, I took advantage of the rub-ons on the Booked for Spring Scrapbooking Kit to continue the look of the patterned paper on the spread onto the corners of the page, this will help frame it all. I mix pieces from the chipboard, alpha stickers, clear circle stickers, and die cuts all from the Booked for Spring Scrapbooking Kit to complete the page.

I love how this turned out, the combination of the stamped images and simple title page balances this spread. I hope this gives you an idea on how to use Booked for Spring Scrapbooking Kit to document the moment in my SimpleDaisy Notebook. I cannot wait to see what you create!
