Document all those daily details with the Nordic Nights Simple Notebook and Nordic Nights Scrapbooking Kit.
It's Nathalie with you today to share a new idea on using the beautiful Nordic Nights Scrapbooking Kit and Nordic Nights Simple Notebook to document your everyday memories. The collection is so versatile that you can easily use it to document your routine and all those not-so-glamorous moments in life.
I selected the striped paper page to create my layout as it contains all the colors in the kit, and the stripe design lends to a simpler and cleaner layout. I repeated the stripe look on the opposite side of the spread with a bit of the washi tape included in the Nordic Nights Scrapbooking Kit.
I placed my two 2.5x3.25 photos on the stripped paper making sure they lined up to the left of the page and they were spaced out along the vertical line of the paper.
I trimmed one of the small frames in the ephemera pack of the Nordic Nights Scrapbooking Kit in half and adhered to the bottom right corner of each picture. I used the edge of the frame as a reference point for the title that accompanies each picture. The small sentiment below the puffy alpha words brings texture and interest to the pictures.
To balance the page, I chose to repeat some of the elements on the dot grid side of the notebook spread. I created my own frame from the patterned paper in the Nordic Nights Scrapbooking Kit. All I needed was a ruler and a sharp craft knife. Then it was all about completing my title. My idea was to create a large title that would tie the two sides of the page seamlessly together.
