Creating this layout with the Serenity Scrapbooking Kit was all about balance and repetition. The striking 6x8 paper with the large crane design became the perfect focal point, setting the tone for the entire page. Since it had such a bold presence, I worked to complement it by layering coordinating patterns from the 12x12 Paper Add-On, as well as smaller elements that echoed its colors and themes. The deep navy background with delicate florals helped ground the layout, while the red accents pulled the eye across the page, creating a sense of movement.

  

  

To create cohesion, I repeated design motifs throughout—like the soft pink florals, the circular umbrellas, and the mix of structured and organic elements. The layering of journal cards and patterned papers added depth without overwhelming the main design. The "Let's Get Takeout" card was a natural fit, reinforcing the food theme and giving the layout a fun, playful touch. Meanwhile, the title and embellishments around the photos created a visual triangle, ensuring that the viewer’s eye moved seamlessly between the key elements.

 

 

  

Overall, this layout balances strong, graphic elements with soft, delicate details, making it feel both structured and organic at the same time. By repeating patterns, colors, and embellishments, I was able to create a sense of unity across the page while still letting the photos and memories shine.
