We know winter can be long, so celebrate the little seasonal shifts with the Willows Simple Notebook and the Willows Scrapbooking Kit.

Hi there! It's Nathalie with you today to share a bit of inspiration for your Simple Notebook featuring the Willows Scrapbooking Kit. As a Canadian girl, I can tell you that winter tends to last a long time around here, so every little change is a victory to celebrate and document. So having the beautiful and vibrant colors of the kit was a great way to document this story.

I was so inspired by the small tag in the ephemera pack from the Willows Scrapbooking Kit, that I created all my spreads featuring tags. And what better way to house the tags than a pocket?

I decided to create my spread in the center of the Willows Simple Notebook. I carefully trimmed the top part of the right side of the spread and adhered it to the next page creating the pocket. I added pieces of ephemera, a chipboard sticker, and enamel dots from the Willows Scrapbooking Kit to create a title on top of the pocket.

I created the tags using the papers in the Willows Scrapbooking Kit and the leftover piece from this spread. I adhered my photos and story to them and added a few extra embellishments to each tag. The photo tags go inside the pocket, and my story is on the left side of the spread – a few additional pieces of pattern paper and the Willows Scrapbooking Kit washi tape help bring this spread all together-.

I just love how this all comes together. I cannot wait to see how this inspires you to get your stories into your Willows Simple Notebook!
