April Sticky Notes Fun.
Hi everyone. Tanti is here. I’m in love with the April kit because of all the rainbows and the bright colours. One of my favorite items from the kit is the cloud shaped sticky notes...
Sorry, looks like we don't have enough of this product.
You cannot mix preorders with regular products
"My first layout is a memory planning layout using the MK sticker kit label stickers and word strips in rainbow order. As you can see in my video, I started with this as a foundation and then added photos, words and finished by using additional MK stickers along with the printables at the photos' edges."
"For my second layout, I continued the rainbow theme in my Simple Dori to highlight the double rainbow we saw in our front yard. Again I used the ombre rainbow word strips from the MK sticker kit along with color-coordinated embellishment stickers. This is a playful way to use up your stickers and create a colorful Simple Dori spread."
"I hope you are staying healthy and creative. Please join in and share what you created using up all your stickers!"
Wow! Casie took our challenge to heart and didn't leave any of her stickers on the table. Her idea to add stickers in rainbow order is a great tip and a simple way to add interest to a layout while using up your kit. Mixing free printables with our sticker kits allows for additional ephemera combinations.
Rachel has a design to share too. She notes, "I’m always up for a creative challenge, especially a 'use it up' challenge! For this sticker challenge, I decided to use a few different sticker sheets from the Traveler’s notebook memory keeping kit and the Memory Keeping Sticker Kit. This challenge was perfect for what I like to call 'Batch Prep' of my memory keeping pages. Sometimes, I can’t print my photos, or I don’t have time to work on a whole weekly spread. Choosing a few sticker sheets and spreading them out over the month gives me the satisfaction of using all the beautiful stickers and a creative head start on each weekly spread.
You may have noticed that my memory planner is a little smaller this month. That’s right, I’m using a Classic Size Happy Planner for my Memory Planner this month. Even though the Memory Keeping Stickers are sized for the Big Happy Planner, they work great in this size, too!
I used my classic size happy planner punch to make them the size I wanted for the weekly layout. An added bonus, the remaining sticker makes a great photo frame!
I rarely decorate the monthly dashboard page, but this sticker challenge inspired me to get decorating! First, I covered the top part of the page with one of the kit papers. I also used the printables to decorate the bottom corner. Next, I used card stock stickers from the Traveler Memory Keeping Kit to add labels for each section of the page. Lastly, I added the Decorative Boxes sticker from the Memory Keeping Sticker Kit as photo frames to document some highlights for the month.
I think the sticker sheet I was most excited about this month was the sticker flags/diamonds. Now, I know they were probably designed for making little flags, but when I saw them, I knew I wanted to build diamond patterns with them, which is exactly what I did to my monthly divider and my weekly spread.
"Check out my process video to see how these stickers went from the sticker sheet to my memory planner pages!"
Rachel's memory planner layouts are stunning and we love her diamond patterns, created with the banner stickers from the Up & Away kits. She used up a lot of stickers! And Rachel's tips for using the classic sticker kit in her smaller planner this month are super creative.
Now, in honor of Casie and Rachel taking on this challenge, Cocoa Daisy is giving away a Tulip Time classic memory keeping sticker kit as shown below.
For your chance to win this kit, show us any memory keeping or planner layout you created with one of our sticker kits or the cardstock stickers in the TN or Pocket Card memory keeping kits.
