To start, I lay down one of the big vellum patterned papers. This creates an easy and subtle background. From there, I find a piece of scrapbook paper from the Gather & Glow Deluxe Journaling Kit to match the color/vibe I am going for. I measure the paper and cut it to fit the width of one side of the notebook. I glue three sides of this paper and lay it down with the unglued side facing up so it serves as a folder. This is where I stick the prompt paper so it's always in the journal with me.

 

   

On the the right I first cut the notebook paper. This is so I can lay down some of the die cut stickers from the Gather & Glow Deluxe Journaling Kit and have them stick out from the journal. I love using the vellum paper for my first layer on this side. Then, I will look through all the adhesive backed die cuts and find a few that I like together. Then, I line the edge of the paper with these to create a decorative page.

 

 

  

And that's it! I will then use the following pages as my prompt pages and take time to decorate each page a little bit with the remaining items from the Gather & Glow Deluxe Journaling Kit. It's an easy and fun way to make my prompt journaling more decorative!
