Since this week is my first week off school for the year, I added puffy letters (the black ones are also from the Serengeti TNMK, and the white ones are from a prior kit) to denote summer vacay, added a few die cut stickers from the Planner Add-On Kit, and a few strips of washi.

"Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well! Today’s prompt is to create a horizontal design on a third of your layout. My designs always tend to be simple and minimalist so this prompt was right up my alley.
I began by choosing colors that go well with my photo. As the theme for my photo is ‘Fall Season’, I gathered embellishments in orange, red, peaches and browns. Once I have chosen which sentiments I like, I made them fit into the middle third of my layout. The graph paper of our Traveler’s Notebook was truly helpful in this aspect.
This layout was done in less than 10 minutes. I love how our Cocoa Daisy kits make memory keeping so easy."
