Carol Weatherspoon: Small-Scale ScrapbookingSo, my mom has had a lot of health issues this year and we are so thankful she is still with us; my thoughts on Mother's Day are of great gratitude. The left side of the spread utilizes beautiful patterned paper from the Lillian's Garden Collection. Lately, I love to print my title using my computer and printer, and that's what I did here. I then matted the photo of my mom and added some lovely floral die cuts to frame both the title and the photo. I included the Sunny Days Ahead sentiment along with a rub-on and a couple of embellishments from the Lillian's Garden Traveler’s Notebook Memory Keeping Kit to really highlight my photo. On the right side of the spread, I used another gorgeous piece of patterned paper, added my journaling in vellum along the bottom, and added my photo just a little higher than the center of the page. I absolutely fell in love with that acetate scalloped circle die cut from the Lillian's Garden Modern Memory Keeping Kit because it says "Home Is Where Your Mom Is". That is just a wonderful sentiment for Mother's Day. I hope you'll use this beautiful collection to scrap some memories of your mom, you'll be glad you did!
